Chinese Picture Jasper is a type of Jasper known for its unique, landscape-like patterns naturally embedded within the stone. It's a type of dendritic siltstone found in mountainous regions of China, often called "Chinese Painting Stone" due to the resemblance of its patterns to Chinese landscape paintings. These patterns are created by various minerals like iron oxides and manganese that are deposited during the stone's formation.
This particular form of Jasper is incredibly hard to come by. Limited availability of the material in commercial markets, the gorgeous quality, color, and shape of the stone make it a rare find.

In rare instances on thinner slabs, the edges may show lighter or uneven varnish coverage due to the hand-applied sealing process. This is a normal part of finishing and does not affect the appearance or integrity of the piece when displayed.
