This Brazilian Emerald Hedgie/Groot is a different variation than the Emerald Beryl that is typically seen. This type of Emerald is shale, or slags, that did not obtain enough heat and pressure underground to obtain gemmy properties, hence the opaque green you see, along with other mineral inclusions.
