Pink Amethyst is a variety of Amethyst that crystallizes in the form of masses, prismatic shards, botryoidal, granular, and as a druzy coating. Its pink color comes from small inclusions of Hematite within the Quartz. Pink Amethyst is relatively new to the market and can only be found in southern Brazil.
This geode has beautiful Pink Amethyst clusters, as well as a large chunk of calcite.
