Red aventurine will be a type of quartz that contains goethite, hematite, and/or mica in its composition, and it’s these inclusions that will give it the stone’s red color. Depending on the inclusions, the red tones will always vary. Sometimes, you will notice mica content which gives the stone its “aventurescence,” which is a glitter-like effect.
Green Aventurine is sometimes referred to as Green Strawberry Quartz. Green Strawberry Quartz does not exist. Normal aventurine quartz has smaller and tightly arranged chrome-bearing fuchsite giving it a jade-like appearance, while 'green strawberry quartz' reveals the transparent base color between the chrome-bearing fuchsite flakes, make it look more like crystal.
