Blue Barite

The Teresita Mine, located in Atamaria, La Union, Murcia, Spain, is the source of a rare and prized blue barite mineral specimen. The mine is part of the historic Sierra Minera de Cartegena mining region, which was mostly closed in 1990. Collectors highly seek the "little Teresa's mine" specimens, particularly those with a solid blue color and arrowhead-like shapes.
