Blue Tiger’s Eye, also known as Hawk’s Eye or Falcon’s Eye, is a chatoyant (silky, shimmering) variety of Quartz characterized by a deep, blue, bluish-gray, or greenish-blue stripes. It is formed when fibrous crocidolite asbestos is replaced by silica.
