Aquamarine is a blue-green to blue gemstone variety of the mineral beryl. It gets its color from iron impurities within the colorless beryl. The name "aquamarine" is derived from the Latin words for "water of the sea," reflecting its characteristic sea-like color.

About me

Hi! My name is Jennifer (Jen). I started Triple J Crystals in July 2023, after years of collecting and appreciating minerals and crystals. During the COVID lockdown, my passion really took off. After a few years of amassing a rather large collection, I decided to try selling myself. It has been a crazy, wonderful journey ever since.

Personally, I have been married to my amazing husband, Scott, since 1997. We have 2 grown children, Miranda (26) and Edward (23). We are empty nesters, unless you count our cat fur baby, Murray (aka Quality Control for Triple J Crystals).

Future plans include opening a store front, in Evansville, Wisconsin, where I currently reside. Check back for more details. :)
