Beautiful specimens that measure from 3.3" to 3.5"
Locality: Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico
- Goethite: Acts as the dark, rugged, and lustrous base or matrix. It generally appears in deep chocolate brown, dark red-brown, or black botryoidal (grape-like) or crystalline formations.
- Chalcedony: A microcrystalline quartz that often forms a later-stage crust over the goethite. In these specimens, it frequently appears in striking translucent blue, grey, or black, sometimes exhibiting botryoidal or stalactitic shapes.
- Aragonite: Forms the crowning touch. It typically presents as snowy-white, delicate acicular (needle-like) sprays, spiky starbursts, or radiating "sputnik" clusters sitting atop the chalcedony
