Ethiopian opals, primarily sourced from the volcanic highlands of the Wollo and Shewa regions, are celebrated for their vivid, 3-dimensional play-of-color. Discovered in the mid-1990s and 2008, most of these opals are hydrophane, meaning they are porous and absorb water.

The opals do not need to be in water and are approx. 1". They are randomly chosen.
