Hyalite Opal is a hydrated amorphous form of silica that typically forms in the vesicles of volcanic rocks. In Zacatecas, these opals are found as botryoidal or globular aggregates. They appear colorless or slightly milky in natural light, but under UV, they are bright green fluorescence.
