Sagenite agate is a type of chalcedony containing delicate, needle-like or hair-like mineral inclusions (acicular crystals) that often radiate in sprays, fans, or sunburst patterns, appearing like trapped wheat or coral. These inclusions, commonly rutile, goethite, or zeolites, are trapped inside translucent agate, creating intricate 3D "nets" or "webs".
