Yooperlite shark (M)

"Chinese Yooperlite," often marketed as Emberlite, is a variety of sodalite-syenite found in China that glows with a vibrant orange fluorescence under UV light, similar to Michigan Yooperlites. While technically the same mineral composition, "Yooperlite" is technically a trade name for stones from Lake Superior, making the Chinese material a similar, more affordable alternative frequently sold as polished shapes.
